I make a drive from Boston to NYC once a month. Any place around New England Brewing or along the Merritt people recommend driving by?

Maybe not for SoS, but right near NEBCo is Amity Liquors, which has a ton of beer!

If that means an addition supply of New England Brewing product when the brewery's closed, excellent!

Nothing like warm Super Session sitting on the shelf. Wonder if the staff at Nutmeg in Bethel had a hard time reading "Keep Cold!"?

I thought beer getting cold then warm then cold and being bad was a myth. I realize what the can says...but I don't think it matters. I sometimes buy SS#2, SoS or any other IPA in the middle of a hot day in the summer (from the cooler) and then have it sit in my car for four hours in the heat before being put in my fridge at home. It tastes fine.

That's the same shelf they keep the NEBCO on, so at least there are a lot of great beers there. The hot cold slinking thing is a bit of a myth. Beer is no always kept cold. Cold will slow its aging, but not by a huge amount, so sitting on a shelf for a while won't hurt it. Skunked beer is a light issue more than a temperature issue, unless it was Heineken which is brewed with extra special skunkiness built in from day one.

As if it'll stay there long enough for it to matter. I'm much more impressed that it's not in the back room.

You said it, brother. I actually saw three 6 packs of SS #2 on the shelves at Coastal on Saturday evening and I had to do a double-take. Not only that it was still there but on the shelves, to boot!

I am driving through CT on Friday along 95 to RI. Any chance I will be able to find SS #2 or SoS along the way, if so any recommendations. Thanks

Just picked up a 4 pack of SoS @ Caraluzzi's Market in Bethel. Gentlemen was coming to put it on the shelf literally as soon I was in the beer aisle. He put about 2-3 packs on the shelf, then took the rest to the back. He indicated it was the last case left.

**He also mentioned a fresh batch of Sea Hag should be there by end of this week, cheers!

Picked up a 6 pack of super session today in Fairfield County, there was also some sip in the fridge, however I opted not to buy it.

So forgive my ignorance, I'm a New Yorker who recently started a job in Connecticut -- are any of the places SOS has been spotted anywhere in the Norwalk area?
