Got some at Caraluzzi's in Bethel today. There were a couple of 4 packs left.

What are my chances of finding this in New London County? The closer to RI the better and I will need it within the next two weeks. Trading with my Brother in IL for some Zombie Dust!

A mountain of it at CT Beverage Mart in Middletown for $16/4pack.

What constitutes a mountain? There are kegs all over NYC and Westchester right now.

Considering what is normally on the shelf, anything more than two 4 packs is a mountain IMO.

I don't know exactly how much they had, but it was a lot. More than I had ever seen at once in cans.

Well that is good. Sounds like more than a case is being delivered at a time. Dare I say that it ends up making the shelves in most stores at some point? That would be fantastic.

Seriously? You think it has turned putrid in 6 weeks? What is an acceptable freshness range for this beer?

I saw it on the shelf at two places this week, encouraging. I asked one owner why he's putting it on the shelf now, is he getting more? He just said he doen't feel like dealing with the hassle anymore. I don't blame him.

PieorgiSmash, I just like my IPAs as fresh as possible. It is a preference thing... i am sure they were still good for consumption, but made the executive decision not to purchase them. If it was towards the end of August, then yes, I would have bought in a heartbeat.

Any advice on finding some SOS or SS2 tomorrow on a drive from NY to Boston?

Either arrange a trade or don't bother.

I doubt you will find any SoS, but if you stop at a few stores along the way you may find some SS2. It has been a while since a drop so not sure how easy it will be to find. Should be able to get some Sea Hag though.
