    It's not mind blowingly hard to get if you're not expecting to get it often enough for it to be a go to beer. There are plenty of other good beers at the 12.99+gouge per six pack price. I'd probably wait for the next shipment too.

    Maybe it is just me but I think the whole date code discussion may be a bit overblown. My reasoning is... we were up in Vermont at the very end of May - 1st part of June and picked up some fresh (at that time) SoS and Heady. This past weekend the wife and I had the last two of the SoS cans and it has remained solid taste-wise over time. The Heady on the other hand (6 of those left) has changed notably in taste. Especially approaching 60 days in age and now beyond that.

    I will partially agree with the freahness argument. In the first 2 weeks it is noticably better than afterward, but it does not drop much after that for quite a while.

    Answering my own question from above haha. Went out at lunch time and found 4-packs in Shelton, CT. Canning date is 9/21/15. Cheers!

    There were plenty (about 10-12 4 packs left) at Max Beverage in Farmington last night - might be gone by now. Was $14 a 4 pack at a 1 4 pack per customer limit.
