Lawton OK

I live in Lawton. Not much here. Cache Road Liquor is your best store here. Back Porch Draft House is really good for burgers and brews. For good Mexican food, Ted's is where it's at. Got great chow and margaritas. Outback is about the best place in town for steaks. Wichita Falls is south of here on I-44 about 60 miles. There's a steakhouse there that's really good called McBride's. No craft beer there, but the ribeyes are the best this side of Fort Worth.

@George-Saison-Brett the bacon fried rice is amazing and their beer selection is awesome. If James is bartending ask him what he has in the back but he will have plenty of goodness in the beer cooler up front.

 

You should come up for a tasting sometime!

Chung's Korean Restaurant

 

Any interest in Grapefruit Sculpin, Firestone Walker Union Jack, Westbrook IPA, Great Lakes stuff, Founders, Hardywood BB Sidamo (Coffee Stout), DFH, Avery, etc

 

We get Founders and Avery in OK. If your just trading shelf beer it might be easier to visit Cache Road Liquor and get what you want and not worry about a trade. Just not many traders in the Lawton area.

 

Not quite shelf beer, but I just figured I would bring in some stuff that isn't available in OK for some stuff that I cant get while in OK for whatever reason.

Chung's is Closed. Is that for good or for a couple nights?

 

They are closed on Tuesdays

 

Found that out the hard way. But I did find some Pirate Noir at Cache Liquors.

Just got home today. Thanks for the tips. Wish I could have done Chung's and gotten some Elk Valley IPA. Other than that it was a successful trip.
