That's definitely the highlight of those releases for me. There's a few other good ones too, many of which I will be trying for the first time.

Wow... just noticed the 650 ml bottles. In all my travels in the US I have never seen Black Butte in anything other than 12 oz bottles (except for the Black Buttee Anniversary beers). Interesting...

Guess you haven't travelled as much as you thought ;-) Pretty certain about 80% of their entire range is available in 650ml bottles.

Thanks Torontoblue! just came across the forums last night, will make sure I sign up and (somewhat) look forward to the Ontario/Toronto beer scene.... (apart from the singular liquor entity that is the LCBO...)

Yes, I know. Hence I made reference to not travelling as much as he thought, with a wink at the end. I've seen 650ml bottles of Black Butte across Western, Pacific & Mountain US as well as BC & Alberta.

Open to interpretation, the joys of online posting! Your response of 80% of their range threw me off.

^^^, I guess I should have added "80% of their range is also available in 650ml bottles", and started it on a new line.

I have only seen the straight Black Butte in 341ml 4/6 packs out here. Their special Black Butte series are in 650ml. XXV just hit the shelves this week.

Yeah, believe it ranges from about $25 to $30 depending on the shop.

@Lurkaholic, I saw a tweet from Brewery Creek the other day that they have it in. Would expect that 16th Street has it as well.

Thanks for confirming the price. Think I'll grab some when I'm in Oregon on Monday. Even with my industry discount, it's still a lot of money!

I'm sure it is much cheaper there without our import duties etc.

Oh for sure. If I wasn't off the the US next week, I would have bitten the bullet and gotten them at 16th St, but as it is now, I can get an almost 2 for 1 deal :)

I signed up for twitter *exclusively* to watch for tweets from legacy / brewery creek / 16th street liquor store, and I still managed to miss that one. Thanks for the backup! I'll check in at Legacy tonight, and if no luck head up to BC later.

@Lurkaholic they also have the new Driftwood Gose.

Sorry ON BA's for highjacking this thread - in terms of your new releases I'm jealous of your getting these 2 in which I have not found out west:

    Les Trois Mousquetaires Porter Baltique
La Vache Folle Imperial Milk Stout

Around when does the Halloween stuff usually get released? I'll have to make a trip to Ontario for some of those pumpkin beers! My arms should both be unbroken by that time :p

It was in Alberta at one time but according to the catalogue it isn't available at the warehouse level anymore. There are a couple stores that might have stock though but it would be pretty old.

Pretty sure I saw Samuel Smith's Stingo at Brewery Creek in Vancouver last week and I've have seen it around before. It's going for about $11.00 a bottle.

I've honestly pondered a trip to Rochester to catch a Bulldogs game and to see if I can pickup a bottle there. The Stingo is one of the few Sam Smith brew's I've yet to try and want to. Good to see the Chocolate Stout is here. I picked up the organic pale just recently. Intrigued at how it compares to the exceptional non-organic pale.

I always look forward to Brooklyn Post Road. I enjoy pumpkin ale with i higher level of spices and Post Road fits the bill nicely. And the price tag is fair also.
