Generally underwhelming, but there are a few that I will try.

Is Canadian Dream just American Dream?

I went to the LCBO yesterday and the shelves were filled with local brews which was good to see, but on the other hand very little imported ones.

I wonder what was going on. There are a few here that I haven't tried and I would really like, can't wait.

Nice to see the Renaissance beers, I have liked their stuff in the past.

Any idea of when we can expect to see this product on the shelves?

Sorachi Ace is pretty solid, I really like that one...

When will they be released if the idiots go on strike?

Objectively speaking, one of the best LCBO releases ever.

That Shawinigan Handshake is very good, last year version was very good anyhow. Can't wait to get my hands on a full box of it!

Some of these have started making it to the shelves, but I think they are going with a rolling release...only a few so far in limited areas

Shawinigan Handshake and Blanche Des Honnelles sound interesting. Not sure how I'd treat the reset. The only beer I've had with Sorachi on the label was Dunnigan's and I was less the impressed.

Sorachi Ace is a good beer, and it's a steal [edit: nonexistent, dropped from release] at the price the LCBO has it listed for according to BarTowel. I paid around $10 for a bomber of it out in AB, and it was worth it. Of course, if it's just the hop you're not a fan of, nothing I just said can change that!

Does anyone know what the deal with mikkeller is? Is this just an alias for American Dream or is it unique?

Just saw that Parallel 49's mixed 6 pack is being released in select LCBO stores for you guys. Not sure what the Ontario pack will contain - here in BC we have the same thing but it is a 12 pack which contains Gypsy Tears Ruby Ale, Old Boy Ale, Hoparazzi and their seasonal release which is currently Seedspitter.

While these are all decent beers (IMO the Gypsy is the best of the above bunch) this may lead to their seasonal bomber releases being made available. Recently they have put out some gems including Hopnotist which is probably one of their best DIPAs in BC right now and From East Van with Love which was an excellent RIS.

From my understanding it is simply just American Dream re-named for the Canadian market.

We got the first 3 you mentioned, but no Seedspitter. It is a 3x2 six pack.

Just read over on BT that the Sorachi Ace has been dropped from the release...

Too bad about the non-inclusion of their seasonals, their fall release Schadenfreude which was included in the BC mixed pack was widely considered the best pumpkin beer. Hopefully this is just the first move into the market - I believe their first listing in BC was similar.

This is also too bad - is quite exceptional - runs about $12 out here.

I noticed in the LCBO beer flyer that they're bringing in tall boy cans of Uncommon Brewers Siamese Twin Ale, which is a double with kaffir and lemongrass.
