I read the Bar Towel thread but it doesn't give specifics to when exactly it'll hit other than May-Sept (unless i messed it ) Any Ontario BAs know when they'll be available. Especially interested in the Captivator. Thanks guys!
That i don't know. All i know is what's in this thread: http://www.bartowel.com/board/viewt...&start=0&sid=99c06f24c1e3e9bfc446f4a9089e4028
This should be out in May. I think the reference to "May-Sept" was the expected time the inventory might be on the shelves at the LCBO. These brewery featurs tend to happen every 3 months and the last one was February.
Same as all of the brewery features - 24 stores across the province get them and from my memory it is fairly Toronto-centric but there are also a few Ottawa stores that get them and a few other scattered stores.
You are correct and throw in Guelph, K-W, London, Oakville. The Garrison was good, should have bought more!
Not to mention that the stores that get them can be quite protective over their stock, and are often unwilling to transfer stock to other stores... . Thankfully I tried all the brews when I lived in Alberta, with the exception of the Black IPA, so I won't be as devastated if I can't get my hands on some.
Other than the Double the others are: Raspberry Porter #286849 Hefeweizen #286856 Captivator Doppelbock #288951 Black Ipa #288514 All are 650 ml bottles and prices are not set yet. If you really want some you might be able to get your local store to order you a whole case from the warehouse rather than do a transfer from another store. Although I tried to do that for the Dieu du Ciel feature at one store and the Garrison at another and had no luck.
Thanks for the details! I'm in Quebec so not really near any LCBO but i'll see what i can do. Thanks!
Appears prices will be $5.95 for the Raspberry Porter and Hefeweizen and $6.25 for the Captivator Doppelbock and Black IPA.
Saw the list of 28 stores. 1 store in London, Guelph, Kingston, Mississauga, Oakville, Barrie, Collingwood 2 in Waterloo and 5 in Ottawa All the rest in the GTA.
