A few folks in my tasting group are looking into camping out nearby on friday night, weather permitting, and were wondering if anyone else was interested in doing the same? Could be a fun bottle share. Send me a mail if your interested.

 

Several of us from Buffalo are staying the night in Syracuse and hitting up several of the places downtown the night before hand.

 

the brewery is much closer to robert treman state park or buttermills falls state park.

also the only 2 restaurants i would recommend in town is mercato and just a taste although neither is really big on beer. taste of thai is ok for thai food and the ithaca ale house has a decent selection of beer, but their food is really mediocre. their description for their kobe beef burger gives the usual ignorant bullshit about massaging cows with sake when their meat definitely comes from american cows and their default burger comes with warnings of no substitution following in the footsteps of father's kitchen etc but without their skill. patties are also mediocre and they dont understand what the word medium rare means.

i am down for a tasting or a sharing. i have a bottle of CBS i've been wanting to crack

Ithaca just announced that they will also be releasing 14 that day too...a black ale.

My plans got totally messed up on going to this release so I was just wondering if someone would be able to help me out.

Then I would pay for the bottles of Leblue plus chip in some gas money. I am only looking for maybe 3-4 bottles, but will take less if you only have one or two to spare.

I would prefer if someone from long island could meet up with me and I can either give you the cash and beer in advance, or just pay you back when you get back. But if you are'nt from long island and are going to the release, I will send you a bottle shipper with beer in it, return postage and a money order for the beer purchased plus gas money.

I am going to be moving and this was supposed to be my last blast beer release since I will be going to practically a craft beer desert.

Any help would be appreciated, and you will definately be compensated.

Anyone interested in an in person trade at the release? Id be mostly looking for cantillon/ other limited sours or stouts but any new or random tick is cool.

Hey all! I've been itching for a bottle of this stuff for quite some time, I've got Greek Easter this weekend so there's just no way I can squeeze the trip to Ithaca from CT. That being said, if anyone is coming/going anywhere near the Fairfield/New Haven County (Hartford too, I travel there frequently) area I'd love to do a swap or pay you for your trouble. I'm just looking for one bottle, but would be more than happy to take an extra one or two off your hands!
