It was ok... Had it at the cask collection from Beerfeast last Saturday. But then again, I was around 20 beers deep at that point...

Yeah, it's not like it's new. I've had before. It's not my favorite style, but I'll definitely buy some bottles because it looks cool.

31.4oz? First a 11.2oz bottle of BA Buried Hatchet, now this: have these guys lost their goddamn marbles? lol.

I'm gonna assume this is 750ml (1 pint 9.4 ounces)

As for why these guys are going with bottles: you have to order something like 50,000 aluminum cans minimum from Ball. I can only assume they're trying to get away from using the plain green can with label.

I talked with a rep from another canning brewery in Texas who said that the process of putting labels on cans is a complete pain in the ass when I asked about using them for special releases ala Southern Star's Seasonals.

I'm guessing Seasonals are going to move to bottles once Pro-Am is a year-round (and thus will get its' own can sans label)

Yeah, odd size. Not a liter, not two imperial pints.

Awesome label though, and I really enjoy this stuff; will buy.

Isn't this 1 pint which equals 15.4 oz? Granted I thought a pint was 16oz but no way they'd do a ******ed size for this right?

Arent these in weird ceramic bottles? Might be why the size is so different

No, that's not how the volume is labeled. Look at a 750ml or bomber, and you'll see them labeled as "1 pint 9.4 FL OZ." and 1 pint 6 FL OZ." respectively.

The comma on the label leads me to believe there is a separation between the two.

Didn't catch the comma, which is odd. Why bother with the "1 PINT" part at all then? I guess we'll find out when it comes out.

It just got bumped, but if you look at their label here, they use a comma between the 1 PINT and the 9.4 FL OZ. for a 750ml.

So, these are going to be huge bottles.
