Le serpent cerise

I know that le serpent was released in 2010, so I would assume le serpent cerise would have been released the same year.

 

None at all. I recently got a bottle of le serpent from an awesome trading partner. Just waiting to crack it and all I know is that I have bottle number 14.

 

Le Serpent has been bottled twice I think ... The Cerise has been bottled twice too.

I was told 120ish bottles each time and that is by the head brewer at Snake River. Brewery only release in Jackson, Wyoming. They mainly keg it.

 

Thanks awesome trading partner for providing some real information. I can only speak for how excited I am to try this beer soon.

 

I'm pretty sure Le Serpent's been bottled 3 times. I've got 2008 and 2009. I missed out on the 2010 release (if anyone has one they'd like to trade, i'm interested). =)

 

I think you might be right. I am pretty sure that I scored an '08 Le Serpent in trade. That said, did they release a '10 Le Serpent?

I have '09 Le Serpent, '09 Cerise, and '10 Cerise. I would be at least a little surprised if I missed a LS '10 release.

Edit... I think you might be the "Colorado guy" that scored the '09 Cerise shortly before the Boise crew arrived in Jackson. Cory spoke highly of you.

 

Yup, that was likely me. I was up there with a photography group for the week. Cory was a great host and tour guide! I found out after I left that he actually used to be a member of my homebrew club here in Boulder.

I'm not sure what got released this year. You're probably right about it being Cerise. I have '08 Le Serpent, '09 Le Serpent, and '09 Cerise. Sounds like I've only missed one this year.

 

I stand corrected... I was gifted a '10 Le Serpent tonight by Cory by way of Augie (very cool sales guy). Along with a bottle of the Peach Sour Triple Peche and a 2012 Danimals Saison!! Thanks a bunch fellas.

 

man, i'd LOVE to try Le Serpent. Snake River is one of the most underrated breweries out there. Truly brew amazing beers.
