AALs - is that too easy of a target? Even then, I can drink a couple of them without gagging.

Beers with too many spices. This includes some Wits, sadly, which I like when they're more subtle.

I'm mixed on Barleywines. I'm not yet a fan of Bigfoot, but I have had a couple BW that I really liked (five year old Brooklyn Monster Ale comes to mind as one of those that I thought was delicious). Just need some more experience, I think.

Really, I don't know if there are any styles that I dislike overall. My least-favorite styles always have a few standouts that I enjoy, or at least can tolerate (AALs).

^ This. The description of Stone's "Matt's Burning Rosids" sounded so good! Bought one and could barely finish a small glass worth... :slight_frown:

    Saisons
    Lagers
    Sours

I like BBA Barleywines, but don't like most standard BWs. Kinda the same with Old Ales. Mostly misses for me, but have had some wonderful ones.

I do not like pumpkin ales...I have tried many and most smell great, but taste awful to me.

I did not have a taste for DIPA or IIPA as I began really enjoying craft beer. Now, I am really appreciating these beers and quite prefer an IIPA/DIPA over a regular IPA

Pilsners, pale ales, DIPAs, American strong ales, and sours. I'm starting to warm up to regular IPAs and I've had some pilsners that I've enjoyed, but in general I don't love them.

Been disappointed by some American barleywines, especially aged ones.

Porters and hefeweizens are on the bottom tier. Not that I hate them.

Kolsch. I've tried the style at least a half-dozen times, and I can legitimately say I do not like it. They smell like the back of a dusty computer store to me.

Other than that, I'm not a hophead, so heavily hopped beers or intensely bitter are not usually my faves.

    1. I really truly enjoy all styles (even the occasional AAL like Narragansett or even Schlitz) except for Oktoberfests and Smoked beers. I don't like the malt bill in Oktoberfests. I enjoy sweetness but its particular brand of sweetness rubs me the wrong way (except for GD Hoss but it's brewed with rye which is why I like it). And I have yet to meet a Smoked beer I truly enjoyed. Weyerbacher Fireside and Victory Otto both came close since they were both subtle in the smoke but it's just not a flavor I can get into.
    2. So I definitely haven't developed a taste for Oktoberfests but I have learned to put up with a small amount of smoke in beers. It really has to be trace amounts though for me to like what it contributes to the flavor profile.

AAL's. Most Brown Ales I've had are usually too sweet for me. Also American Strong Ales are too sweet for me. Basically anything that's really sweet I'm not a huge fan of.

I'm a bit older, grew up on Pils and Stouts, so honestly... I do not like IPA's... Taste like I'm drinking perfume.

I have never been able to get into witbiers, or really just about anything brewed with an intrusive amount of spices. I rarely ever feel the urge to drink a brown ale or an American-style wheat beer, either. Also, I've never had a smoked beer I really enjoyed drinking.

Sours, smoked beers, and fruit beers. Don't care for hefes much either. Like some of most other styles

Sours, but I keep trying. I can imagine that I might develop a taste for these.

Brown ales and smoked, I don't even bother. Don't like them in the least.

    Lagers and Ales.
On a more serious note...smoked beers and pumpkin beers. Wasn't a fan of IPA's for the longest time but they're finally growing on me.
