You know what I can't stand? Lambics, gueuzes, American wild ales, bourbon barrel-aged stouts and barleywines, saisons, double IPAs, and hoppy pale ales.

Baltic style beers, or anything brewed with hot chilies.

Pilsner. There's no need. I'd much rather drink a kolsh or simple mild. Pilsners just bore me.

AALs are really the only beer type that I'll dismiss out of hand. Most anything else, I'm game.

Troegs Hopback Amber is a solid beer. Nothing to love but surely nothing to hate on.

Winter Warmers. I'm not sure if it's really classified as a style but they exist and they are awful in my opinion. Yuckity yuck yuck yucky!

upadate: I LOVED the Alaskan, and if you can ever get your hands on Lucid Duce, that's a VERY solid amber as well. They're both imperial of course.

Yea none of those make it out this way. I was gonna put smoked beers as well but then I remembered I had Alaskan Smoked Porter and I decided to change my mind.

That Alaskan Pilot Series man, I tell ya. They're a bunch of eye-openers.

I know, I really want to try the Black I.P.A. but fear that ship has sailed.

I'm not that big of fan of most German beer styles, particularly German pilsners and kolsches. I think that I am generally more accustomed to the bolder, more pronounced flavors of American craft brewers, to the extent that many traditional German beer styles now seem boring and too subdued.

Beers you wouldn't drink even if offered for free. Mine:
    Sours (destroys my gut)
    Malt liquor
Dopplebocks (Never had one that didn't leave me nauseated))

I wont turn down a beer but I almost never buy porters, Scottish beers, and non-imperial stouts.
