I don't hate them, but my least favorites are wheats & saisons. I really can't think of a third.

Wouldn't turn down free beer and I'm willing to try anything once but I avoid: Sours, Saisons, and Lambics. Just can't get into them. I've tried but not so much.

I can appreciate most styles, but the ones I just can't get into are:

    Rauchbiers
    Irish Red Ales
    Chile Beers

    Runner up: Dark Saisons

generally anything high in phenolics or diacetyl...so many poorly made saisons, brett beers & english ales (esp. beers fermented w/ringwood yeast)

I generally appreciate all beer styles for what they are, but I absolutely hate Belgian Witbiers.

I tend to run away from smoked beers, shy away from spicy/chilli beers, and am not particularly fond of some of the heavily-hopped "American-Style" (my descriptor) lagers/pilsners. I like my light lagers to be nice and balanced, or even a tad bit on the malty side (although I did enjoy Prima Pils, as an exception)

Runner up goes to non-bretted saisons. I'm still openly exploring the Saison style, but haven't found many I really like, save some oaked and bretted versions (Sofie and Jolly Pumpkin's offerings to name a few). Have a bottle of Dupont sitting at home right now waiting for me to try it. Have tried a handful from Ommegang as well as some of the other more well known "Farmhouse" breweries (Stillwater, etc. - admittedly, mostly American) but have yet to find anything that makes me want to have it again.

I wouldn't say I wouldn't drink them for free, but they're definitely at the bottom of my list

Euro Pale Lagers (Ok, I will not drink one of these for free..Heine tastes fart in liquid form)
Most APAs are boring..they're not gross..they're just eh (SN PA is an exception)
    Pilsener (Czech and American)

    1. Belgian Quads
    2. Scotch Ales
    3. Old Ales

Not that I can't find a delicious version (for my tastes) of each style, but for the most part, these or any dark-fruit forward type beers I don't care for.

Belgian Style Pale Ales, Hefes, and Wheats. I have found exceptions for each style, but I usually dislike the majority of them. I keep trying them though because you never know when you might have a "palate break-though".

I can enjoy at least some aspect of every beer style. Though, the styles I enjoy the least are probably:

•Double (or Triple) IPA's - Most, nowadays, seem too unbalanced.
•English Bitter - I feel this style served its purpose to the English, the way DIPA's have to the American's. Just brewer's looking for that something extra.
•Märzen - I just think of chugging many liters of beer and getting sick. (It's a tasty, ehm, drinkable beer if you're chugging all day).

I beg to differ, Lagerbier means something quite specific in Germany.
