Oyster Stout didn't sound right to me either. But I really liked Marooned on Hog Island. Only one I've tried so far. The pizza beer sounds disgusting though.

Now that sounds a little harsh.

Although I must agree Beard Beer does not interest me, taste-wise. Weird and unusual-wise? Yes.

Hadda look this up to make sure I got it right.
Marketing a consumable product based on its repulsion factor is counter-intuitive to me. Beer using yeast grown in a man's beard or beer made with bull testicles? What's next, beer made with bacteria from dog shit?

The novelty is lost on me.

This thread just got merged with another thread titled, "What beer sounded too gross for you to try" (I'm paraphrasing), so the original thread's intent is slightly compromised now.

I do not hate anything. I do not drink or seek out fruit beers of any kind. I have tried all that came my way though. mostly not a fan of pumpkin. strong clove is not a favorite and black liquorice or anise is not a big draw. Still every beer is different and some times they get the balance right. I do know one has to try them all to know.
the only thing sadly that stops me is being poor. oh well. lol that is life.:grinning::grinning:

those bourbon beers sound nice but pricey...kind of jealous actually.:grimacing::slight_frown:

Wits are a style I've never been able to get into. I see no appeal in Black IPA's, winter warmers, or pumpkin beers.

I do not care at all for ALL, Pale Lagers, macro pilsners & Euro Pale Lagers etc.

Not a big fan of Dubbel, Tripel or Witbeer.
Any beer combining over sweetness with overt sourness. Sour RIS excluded.

Smoked beers have to be one my least favorites. I like the idea of them and have purchased several, though every time I just dont care for it. Perhaps I havent tried the "best, top" one, etc.
