Lefty's Brewing Co. in Greenfield to Close

    Looks like Lefty's Brewing Company is closing permanently on April 14th. The articles I've seen don't give any specific reasons why. Super sad to hear this news. They make some of the best dark beers in Western Mass. Definitely going to have to stock up my closet cellar with their dark imperial offerings before they're gone forever. I have a barrel aged wedding daze stout from 2016 I've been saving for my wedding this September.

    Wow, that's unexpected, isn't it?

    I really liked the folks at Lefty's. Sorry to hear this news.

    Not to be that guy but I'm not surprised. The few Lefty's beers I'd had I didnt like.

    I remember trying the chocolate oatmeal stout and the Graham cracker porter, thought both were terrible. Berkshire makes far better dark beers IMO.

    I gave Lefty’s two chances - an IPA & some sort of stout - both were pretty terrible (& expensive). I never tried again.

    That's too bad y'all feel that way about their beer. I was always a huge fan of the dark stuff. I do agree BBC is probably the best, so that may have been a bit of an exaggeration. I do, however, agree their hoppy stuff sucked.
