Hophead Mex/Blanco PL fan and foodie from lower Alabama headed to London and Leicester.
Where can I find good food, IPA's, and Man U games on TV?

    Hi.

First of in Leicester you will only be able to watch Man U games if they are on TV, as over here pubs can't show all the games only the ones selected to be broadcast. In the centre there is a place called The Queen of Bradgate which shows football and also does quite good beer.
Places to drink are Taps, The Criterion, Cafe Bruxelles (belgian beer).
I personally love eating at Taps their food is great. What kind of food do you like, as this will make it easier to suggest places?

Could be in Leicester during the Manchester Derby.
Love all pub grub. Am willing to try anything. Daughter is a Belgium fan.

For pub grub that is top quality I would go to a pub called the Rutland and Derby Arms which is in the centre. They have some good beers (ales, bottled american beers) and the food is very good. The derby will be on in most places in the centre.

Will probably drive to Stonehenge from London one day. Any food drink suggestions or other words of wisdom?

Absolutely. Stop by Salisbury. It has a nice cathedral and some cracking old pubs. Also the driving is very good around there.

How does everyone feel about Everards? I know they are Leicester based.

It's one of those breweries about whom I hear tales of magnificence in bygone years. Though I have had their Tiger Best Bitter on cask (during a uni trip to Caerleon Roman Fortress actually... strange how things come back to you) and I really enjoyed it. I thought it was a good example of an English cask bitter, so if a traditional ale is what he's after then I'd say it was a good shout.
