What are the opinions about where this beer will be in 3 years? I have a few and have the option to grab another for under 100 bucks, good buy? I haven't actually tried it yet, just seeing if anyone thinks it's worth the investment.

Not much, you have just been added to a lot of people's do not trade with lists. That's all.

There are plenty of BAs that do not mind you looking into the investment aspect.

    It will be delicious.

If you're asking the BA community for a hypothetical trade value three years in the future, just stop.

He is simply talking about spending $100.00 dollars. He is investing in the product. He could easily invest that $100.00 dollars elsewhere.
Drink one you have. If you like it, it will continue to age well. If you don't like it, spend your $100.00 elsewhere.

spin this another way................. Bought one of the series in Australia for nearly $100.
If it was on the shelf for $100 again I would buy it. Yes we seem to get some odd stuff on the shelf out here from time to time.

I find it weird that you seem to be incapable of making purchasing decisions without consulting BA (this is, what, the third thread you've started about this beer?). If you want the stuff, buy it. If you don't, don't. Why do you need so much help deciding if you want it or not?

All you need to know is that Lente is a delicious, special release beer created by a european master brewer of a style that will grow more complex and interesting over the years. IMO, $100 is overpriced for a Lente, but at least you'd be overpaying for quality.

This kind of material is red, bloody meat for the wild beer geek, which is why I'm not jumping into this one - I like my discussions well done, not well chewed.

if you can get lente for under 100 its a steal. they havent been for sale on etre, or belgiuminabox separately for a while. You should buy as many as you can and drink them. lente is amazing.

You should drink one this very moment and then buy as many as possible for whatever price you can. Then drink the rest of them yearly until you run out. Lente, Herfst, and Zomer are the best gueuzezzzzzz I've ever had.
