Please god no. We don't need another two months of stupid ass jokes. There's enough going on with Hunahpu coming up so far some one to need attention (whether as a joke or not it) really makes me wonder how much your life must suck.

 

Your grammar was poor, but I think you're wondering how much my life sucks. It doesn't, and you should take a break from the Internet. I just want to know the story behind something that sounds pretty interesting.

 

I think he was referring to the person who went out of their way to create a new BA Username, and then create this thread to beat a super dead horse to death. Suffice it to say there was some drama at one of the last CCB Brewpub bottle releases, but the drama has passed and (most) everyone had moved on.

 

Unless it really is that guy, and in that case, he still should have just let it lie.

 

Oh but I just heard the story. It a wonderful tale of a man and too many beers. Tell it again guys!

Let me sum this up again so people can just get over it. There were a series of bottle releases at the brewpub, and the last weekend they were occurring they deviated from the previous bottle distribution style they had been using. Formerly they were releasing 25ish bottles on a first come first serve basis, with all of those bottles being the same beer. This particular weekend, unbeknownst to patrons (and its not like we "deserved" to know) they decided to release several different bottles adding up the the 25, with anyone in line after that having a chance to purchase singles of the beer Wayne brewed for his band. So herein lay the issue for some in line, if it was all the same beer like it had been, line position didn't matter, if you were one of the first 25, you got the same bottle. Under the new scenario, position mattered to some based on the beers that were released, as some were destined to be chosen before others. Since nobody knew this, people had been mingling in line, bottle sharing, being good and friendly BA's. Once the format was announced as they were passing out numbers, people starting grumbling, and since some in the line had gotten fairly intoxicated, the grumbling was louder. This continued inside, with people bitching like children because they didn't get the bottle they wanted, with one fellow in particular loudly complaining that it was his birthday and he should get a bottle of Leon (something along those lines, I was trying to ignore it all and eat my delicious brunch). So that's how the whole Leon / It's my birthday thing came to be.

My personal opinion and the last thing i'll say in this thread is that everyone gets a little too drunk sometimes, and too emotional about their passions in life. I chatted with the fellow in line and shared beers with him prior to the rest unfolding, and he seemed like a nice guy. I don't judge him, I've blacked out and made a fool of myself too, his misfortune was that it was in front of 50 or so B.A.'s. Nobody is perfect, so, let's just collectively let this go.

 

and the day after when I showed up everything went smoothly and we had our choice of bottles first come first served.

 

That's one of the downfalls of being first in line.
