Ugggg I know it's terribly childish of me but since I for some reason stuck up for this person previously in this thread I have to come back and kick this dead horse one more time. I'm sorry in advance for everyone who's gonna have to read this.

It turns out the person who was the legend behind this thread / occurrence at the brewpub is the exact same person who posted a picture of multiple cases of Huna on Instagram with a tag line along the lines of "I heard some people didn't get Hunahpu's" with hashtags like #sorrynotsorry. Any of you who have met me know i'm generally calm, friendly and happy to share what I have, but seriously....

F*CK. THIS GUY.

If you were fortunate enough to get a case, I'm not mad at you. It was allowed. But if you got a case and then took time out of your day to just sh*t all over people that didn't receive anything? F*CK. YOU.

He then decided to try "apologize" on Reddit to try to wipe some of the sh*t off his face because he's probably scared of getting banned from CCB or cast out of the community.

To the guy whatever your name is:

You will not get very far in life acting like this. As most of us age, we get a clearer picture of what human decency amounts to, and you're gonna have to work overtime and weekends to catch up to the rest of us. The system should inherently deny you a username here, because you are not a Beer Advocate. No BA would mock people who share his interests. And if you're reading this, you're probably blowing this off, which is sad. Because it's easy to be an asshole, its easy to always put yourself first, but it can be just as easy to be kind and generous, patient and useful. I would love for you to have a moment of clarity and mature, but that may not happen. Just know eventually people like you are all that is going to be left, because people like me are getting tired, so we're closing more doors, having more intimate events, you're killing our spirit (or mine anyways) with your general attitude.

So I dunno how to even finish this up, because now that i've got it out I feel a lot better, so...Fin?

 

Well said Dre! I completely agree and this is the kind of stuff that we should start to pay more attention to as BA members. This is supposed to be a community and to have people like this makes it look bad on us. This guy ruined Brewpub releases for everyone and has now, not single handedly, but contributed to the end of Hunahpu Day.

 

I hate to say I told you so, but a leopard can't change its spots. I'm not at all surprised.

 

Is this the same dude who made the shirt "All I want for my birthday is a bottle of leon" with a dude and gold letters on it? He was wearing it at the El Catador sign up. Just curious if its the same dude.

 

If that's true, and he was behind the douche behavior at both the brewpub and the instagram #sorrynotsorry case gloating.... FUCK that guy. Even if that pic post was troll bait and just a case shot of the collective of everyone in his cadre, fuck that. I'm down with Dre', that's a kick in the balls to everyone that didn't get their guaranteed 3 bottles.
