I got a Torpedo 12-pack on sale at my local grocery store for $10.99 last week. Every 2-3 months they offer Smuttynose 12-packs for $9.99, but that's about it. The local dive shop (Gary's in Portsmouth, NH) is the only store around that consistently has decent prices.

I just paid $7.49 for a Siberian 4 pack. Bet a case is even cheaper.

Have not tried it yet. Waiting to get some Raspy to do a test of what I like better.

    Enjoy

Torpedo usually goes on sale for $11.99 around these parts.

Gawd, Smuttynose 12-packs, that sounds delicious.

That's an awesome deal. It's such a great stout. It's $9.99/4pk here in Ohio, where it's brewed..

In the case of BBCS, that was the stores, not the brewery. Brooklyn kept the price of a case to their distributors the same in the first year of 4 packs as it had been in the last year of 6 packs. So no price increase by the brewery with the switch. Many of the other "price increases" may have been at the store as well.

I think the prices are way too high. Wages for most people arent keeping up.

Green Flash gouged me again. After the huge increase in price for their West Coast IPA a couple of years ago, I just got back from my favorite Tucson liquor store, where I discovered the price of their Imperial IPA had just been jacked up by 30%!!! I need to find a more customer friendly brewer....

These threads make me want to cry.

$12.99 for a 12 pack of Torpedo? Around me it's $11.99 for a six pack, and just shy of $40 for a case.

Still not as bad as what Canadians pay for beer.

So true. Even Bud Light is about $12 for a sixer.

With breweries like Green Flash, Oskar Blues and a few others starting up locations east of the Mississippi I would expect to see a drop in overall price as well as in increase in freshness. Although I doubt it.
