    Hi Everyone. I wanted to make an attempt to stir us into action to start posting pics on the above mentioned thread. I post pictures on there a few times a week and I enjoy looking at the other - mainly U.S. based poster's - pictures. We've got some of the world's best beer here in the UK and some beers available to us (British, Belgian, German etc) that are not widely available in the States. Let's break out of our little corner here and start posting some Samuel Smith's, Fuller's, Kernel brewery etc pics. Also, we get some European beers that are hard to find across the pond.

    The whole point of Beer Advocate and the internet is that it's international so let's not just hide away in this dark corner of the website. Let's get stuck in and post a few ales that the Americans would admire![​IMG]

    I like those threads and have posted a couple of times in the past but am currently lacking a decent camera - the one on my phone is gash as well. There's too much great beer **** on there for me to bring it down :open_mouth:

    I sometimes post on the
    "What beer are you drinking now?" & even
    "Post a picture of your latest haul"
    but it's just you get more interaction here and having to put your photos through a sharing site
    rather than just directly uploading deters as well.

    This yank would love to see more of you post. I was stationed in England for 5 years & have gone back twice since then. I would love to hear more from you all. I miss the sense of humor to be sure...

    I've posted before but from what I've seen it's less about discussion and more about "look at what awesomely rare beer I've got" style like-whoring.

    The best part of the more interesting beers I encounter are served in pubs and sadly a shot of a generic pint glass, however professionally taken :wink:, isn't going to elicit any great interest.
    This afternoon I supped a few halves whilst out in darkest Northumbria. Mostly they were superlative beers but nothing to write home about visually, plus I didn't have the ipad and the other half left her iPhone at home.
