I think these posts may have turned me off beer for a long time.

I might - might - have something to resuscitate you later this evening. Founders Gilded Bock.

“Savor the elegant notes of cocoa in Gilded Bock. This Bourbon Barrel-Aged beer is subtly sweet with a smooth caramel finish. Gilded Bock is a decadent treat to elevate the ordinary moments of life. From the dark rich flavor, to the cocoa aroma, everything about this beer is gilded in deliciousness and aged to perfection.”

We shall see. Hope is alive.

Nope. Not at all. It definitely doesn't sound like a Bock I want to drink.

Check back when HB Delicator hits shelves.

    Gilded Bock - Founders

Hmmm, it’s pretty tasty. The cocoa is mild, however the bourbon is prominent. It is recognizable as a Bock. Whatever it is, I’m enjoying it as a nightcap.

I'll try it if I see it anywhere. It wasn't on the store shelves of either of my two favorite stores as of two days ago.

From last night- Goldfinger Vienna lager (original behind) at the source. I had been looking forward to trying the winter lager, but they’ve already gone through everything…. Maybe next year. At least all their beers are great!

Goldfinger Mexican-Style Lager - This is the fourth of the 4 beers from this brewery that I serendipitously found at the store last month. Like the other three of them, this one is very good. (Everything from this brewery must be good!)

And I thought the SN Premium Pils cans were small! Pocket Pivo from Side Project. 3.5% abv light lager in a 7.5oz can marketed as a “lunch lager” (lol). Not a bad beer though. Cheers!!

The word from SNBC is that Pils is year-round and the person i was speaking with indicated the format will remain the same. Summerfest will continue to be the summer seasonal release.

BTW, Celly Drippins was very enjoyable. When we did a side by side, Celly definitely is more earthy, floral, and a bit piney compared to Celebration which came across as much brighter citrus wise and more pine.
    Cheers!
