Hey folks there isn't going to be a firkin this friday, we will be starting firkin fridays this year on april 18 with a firkin from Bell's I'm pretty sure its going to be Hopslam. But if you are headed to the game this friday check out the Detroit Pub for pre or post game they are having a tap takeover with Dark Horse brewery

 

Its firkin Friday today we have a Bell's Hopslam firkin and when that runs out we'll have Bell's cherry stout on tap

 

Sorry for the short notice but we have black note tonight starting at 7:30

 

Man, you're still killing it hobobumguy...I'm sure the black note is long gone, but anything special going down for Friday night?

I'm happy to drink all days throughout the game, but just looking for the inside scoop.

 

yeah the black note lasted about 20 minutes. this week for firkin friday we have Atwater Decadent Dark Chocalate ale in the firkin, and on my specialty tap i have four witches from New Holland, but please people drink the four witches, because after I fininsh off the four witches i've got in my keg room 1/4 barrels of Arbor's Phat Abbot Triple, Arcadia's Deliverance, Founder's Barrel Aged Red's Rye PA, and KBS coming on that tap not necessarily but probably in that order but we have to sell out of the Four witches first.

 

I might even prefer deliverance to kbs. Amazing beer

 

Going to another suite tomorrow for the Rangers game.

Anyone know if suites serve up craft yet? Ugh.

 

Going on 6/8 to the Sunday night game vs the Red Sox and I'm in charge of the food order for our suite. The actual menu lists Two-Hearted and Oberon cans ($35/4-pack), not sure if you can place an order to the Michigan Craft Beer "stand" or not.

 

That's good news, even if my sweet doesn't have it.

Heading down to Comerica tonight. Hobobumguy, any of those kegs being tapped tonight (Arcadia's Deliverance, Founder's Barrel Aged Red's Rye PA, or KBS)?

 

Hopefully the beers at Comerica are better than the Tigers have been the last 4 games

About three of those would be needed to stomach the way the Tigers have been playing. Yikes.

 

Thanks Steebo for posting that I didn't know what firkin we were gonna have till I got to work yesterday, and didn't get a chance to post on here, follow me on twitter @EvanConcessions for when stuff like that happens its just easier to post there from my phone, but tonight we will be serving Arbor's Phat Abbot tripel but we are serveing it from a randall (google dogfish head randall) so this is gonna be pretty special tonight

 

What's in the randall? Sounds great no matter what!

 

The randall had Arbor Phat abbot tripel today, but the Randall is going to become a regular feature at the craft beer stand, similar to firkin Fridays we're gonna randall saturdays (someone please come up with something cleverer than this) and we have some great ideas for my new favorite co-worker Randall the enamel animal (don't tell Ebony I like Randall better) the first few times will probably be not so hoppy beers ran through hops but our GM Bob wants to do Strawberry Blonde through sliced strawberries so that will probably happen and my idea is a brown ale through bacon (because if you know me at all you know my 2 favorite things are beer and bacon) so stay tuned for more info I'll always try and give you guys a heads up as soon as I know whats going on.
