Not a fan of Arbor but any chance there is some black note left.
How are people complaining about the high prices at the ballpark? With Miller and Bud being 7-8$, were you really expected craft choice to be cheaper?? No one said it was fair one way or another, but it is what it is. Find me any ball park, stadium, amusement park, etc, in the country where you can find good beer for a "reasonable" price.
Is there a way to find out what they have before just a surprise when you happen to be there?
Agree, but jackhammer is their best imo
I had two Black Notes after I loaded up at the bar before the game so I wouldn't have to spend big bucks for beer at the ballpark. $8.75 for a Black Note? Deal!!
honestly I didn't know about any of the special feature beers until friday, when they brought the old kegerator from last year up from the warehouse, and said we're doing hopslam today. but I did know about the rest of the weekend that night so I'll try and post it here as soon as I know about it'll probably only be a day or 2 in advance but thats the best I can do, also at the moment the plan is to only do those on weekend games
Pretty crazy they had these, Comerica has come a long way in the beer dept.!
holy shit this is amazing. black note and kbs at tigers games? i better start stocking up on weekend tickets now.
I used to attend the triple-A Norfolk Tides in the late 90's...they had one kiosk that served Pete's Wicked Summer Brew...it was good at the time...the server always gave me this knowing wink...even after I was obviously loopy...
All I was saying was what nobody cares to hear --
I probably wouldn't pay it, regardless of the quality of beer. Obviously I'd choose it over the typical shit that's served, though.
7.75 is beyond reasonable for KBS
Where'd this KBS talk come from? They sell KBS there?
Yes, they were..AND black note...was posted here
Have you had Buzzsaw yet?
I notice now. I skipped right over those posts.
Still have both of those beers on my "to try" list... bah.
This Friday at Comerica
Where did you get this info from? I need to get it too.
Eat it Detroit on Facebook.
anything going on this weekend at the park???
This weekend its all Atwater beers
Friday: Conniption fit Double IPA
Saturday: Teufel Bock
Sunday: Uber Ursa
meh.....I really wish they made good beers...
Yep, seriously, just one good one would be fine.
Yep...I mean, I love what they are doing with the expansion..The hiring of new people..Keeping it "Detroit"...But I really wish they would put more focus into their brewing process and just producing quality beer..
And not have their canning line located out of state. If they're all Detroit, they should can their beers here.
Right on Brother..I do agree with you
womp womp womp.. oh well, ill bring some stuff to drink in the parking lot then go for two hearted after that.
thanks for the quick reply though.. appreciate it!
I'm headed to the game tomorrow too and I'm sitting in the 300 level. I believe that the main craft stand referenced in this thread is in the 102 area. Will there be any craft options near me too? Thanks.
im not 100% but i would guess you'll just be best off making the short trip over to sec 104 to the MI craft beer stand. doesn't seem to be many good options outside of there..
This. It's only a 5-10min walk.
Too bad you will have to pay an arm and a leg for it. Rather just drink it during tailgating
It's a ballgame. You pay more for everything. Part of the deal.
Oh really? Didn't know that..
Listen, there's no reason to complain about the price of beer at the ballgame. It's annoying and it's obvious. You can get Two Hearted for what you pay for Bud. That's a good deal, not something to mindlessly bitch about.
Mindlessly bitch about it? You sound like a Chicago Hawks fan right now. Obviously not mindlessly whens its a true fact.
You're right. Complain about prices for good beer at a ballpark. You really should complain about the price of a burger at the airport or a cocktail on a cruise ship. Enjoy. Cheers!
Shit... I didn't know this thread was about cruise ships and airplanes. Learn to form a argument and not attempt one that is fallacy filled. First of I didn't "bitch" about it, it was more of a joke: "Arm and a leg." You Mindlessly replied to my comment acting like you are so smart and say I didn't know you have to pay more for everything at a Tigers game... Yup I replied "mindlessly." And thats called sarcasm like my second comment.
I think some hockey fans need to slow their roll.
Eat em up!
