I'm pretty sure this is the case since they have expanded to canning, and I saw Perpetual and Troegenator in cans the other day; I knew they were coming but I hadn't seen them in person until then.

Pilsners are some of my (if not THE) favorite style of beer and I like too many to list really and there is rarely a Pils I come across that I don't like. Sure there are some that I like more than others, but I can't think of one I have had to date where I thought, "This is awful and I won't be having this one again!" Pilsners are always a safe bet for me and I can drink one anytime!

Victory Prima Pils - Breckenridge Regal - DFH My Antonia and Piercing Pils - Stoudts Pils

Would anyone else agree that Victory Hop Ranch is really an Imperial Pilsner and if so the world's best pilsner?

I know that Kulmbacher EKU Pils gets so so ratings around here, but I used to drink that one fresh and not so fresh; alsways very good to me. Also, is Trumer still kicking? That was a good beer and concept.

How about one of the originals - Pilsner Urquell?

    Love Pivo Pils as well.

I've noticed that I seem to prefer the Czech Pils over the German Pils but only slightly.
Summit Pilsener and New Glarus Two Women are fine examples of the style.

German Pils over Czech Pils for me, but like both. German's are typically hoppier, Czech's a bit sweeter.

Pilsner Urquell is the original, and on draft in Prague, it's still the best. Doesn't translate as well in bottles in the U.S.

    My faves:
    Prima Pils
    Troeg's Sunshine Pils
    SN Summerfest
    OB Mama's Little Yella Pils
    Avery Joe's Pilsner
    Paulaner Pilsner

And I'd drink any German one pretty much and enjoy it.
Would like to try FW Pivo Pils

Truth, Pilsner Urquell is money on-tap in Prague. Wish they could bring that magic back to the US.

Kind of off topic but I cannot for the life of my understand why more craft breweries don't put more of an emphasis on pilsners and pale ales. Rather than fighting over the craft beer market share with IPAs and Imperial Stouts, they should be targeting MillerCoors and InBev with beers that are more flavorful and closely related styles. BMC holds over 80% of the beer market share in the US. The opportunity is there. My segway into the craft market was good pilsners and I am sure I am not alone. Only my opinion of course...

    On topic...

    Prima Pils
    Kaiser Pils
    Noble Pils
    Sunshine Pils
    Pikeland Pils
    Mama's Little Yella Pils
    Summerfest Lager

There are many I'd like to try such as Pivo Pils but haven't had the opportunity to as of yet.

Love pilsner but my tastes don't seem to match those of others on here. I’m not a fan of Prima, Noble, or Sunshine pils, despite the love those 3 beers get in pilsner conversations.

Really wish I could try Pivo. We get FW here in MA but they don’t send that particular beer here.

    Domestics I like are:
    Mama’s little Yella Pils
    Stoudts
    Sixpoint The Crisp
Lagunitas Pils - Love the taste of it but not a fan of its ABV – feels too high for the style but it doesn't stop me from buying it.
Berkshire Czech pils - not very accurate, it’s just totally delicious in its own way.

And then I also really like Lost Nation's pils, but that's hard to get outside of VT.

For a creative spin, I love what DFH did with Piercing pils.

For imports, I buy Mahr’s pils more than anything else, followed by Weihenstephaner’s.

No. Just because a beer uses pilsner malt does not make it a pilsner.

I've never been to Prague, so I guess I can't really compare, but I can say that last year a fresh can of Urquell opened my eyes to how great a Pils can be.

Prima Pils is my go to beer, always in stock at my house. I like Noble Pils, when I can find it. I would buy Pilsner Urquell, if I could find it in cans.

There were some real nice czech pils at Churchkey from Konrad and Sumay? Including Polotmavy styles (a real dark amber lager pils), they were some of the most enjoyable beers I've ever had. If you mange to get a tasting opportunity of these breweries for pils I strongly suggest you go post haste!

They did a couple of months ago. One bar each in a few select cities got a barrel of fresh, unpasteurized Pilsner Urquell: the stuff they drink in the Czech Republic. I had it in Prague a few years ago and trekked to the lucky bar in Philly that got it. In short, both times it was perfection in a glass.

I tend to prefer Czech pilsners over German, but really like both. The aforementioned unpasteurized Pilsner Urquell is my #1 pilsner, with Rothaus Tannenzäpfle a close 2nd. After them, I like all of Victory's Braumeister Pils (except the schwartzpils), the US version of Pilsner Urquell, Victory Prima Pils, Tröegs Sunshine Pils, Budweiser Budvar (and its US version: Czechvar) and Sly Fox Pikeland Pils.

I'd love to try Reality Czeck, though.
