Is Whole Hog out in the Austin area? Didn't see it at HEB, but haven't checked anywhere else yet.

 

It landed a while ago. I've seen it at CM and I think HEB Mueller.

 

Went "home" to visit some family in NJ. Which, of course, means a visit to my old craft brew provider. Found quite a few items I can't get here in PA. Finally get to try Fishermans Pumpkin Stout and Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale, plus a few more items on my "beer bucket list"...This is becoming an addiction.

 

Saw it at HEB Tech Ridge this past weekend.

 

Im ok with pumpkin beer but why not release them in October. Seems like they have taken over Oktoberfest beer and that im completly against of. I stop by my local Specs and they had tons of pumpkin beers and only a handful of Oktoberfest thats so sad. I can drink one pumpkin beer but tons of Oktoberfest which taste much better in my opinion. But if i had to choose one pumpkin beer i would go with pumpkinator.

 

Thank you to everyone who recommended Crown Valley Imperial Pumpkin Smash. Had the first one a couple nights ago and it was almost perfect.

 

Not a huge fan of pumpkin beers myself, but will gladly open one to share.

After a crazy woman at Spec's grabbed the last bottle of No Label's Imperial Pumpkin Ale out of my hands the other day proclaiming, "I NEED AND DESERVE THIS", I decided I would grab on at D&Q to try...

Have to say, it's pretty impressive and one of the better pumpkin beers I have had... Would definitely recommend picking up a bottle or two if you see it around Houston.

 

She must've thought it was Pumpkinator circa 2012.

I liked No Label Pumpkin a lot as well, usually I only like pumpkin stouts, but this was great.

 

Anybody know if we're getting Avery PumpKYn? Sounds amazing.

 

I'm actually looking for that No Label Nightmare on 1st St. Anyone seen it in Austin? Preferably northside?

 

I believe we are. I thought I'd read Avery say that we would get it in Texas.

Haven't had DFH or Whole Hog might not get to them as time is slipping away. Pumking left much to be desired again this year, I've got Warlock on deck for this Wednesday (Pirates playoff game) Post Road was passable, I thought better than last year.

I asked on FB and they replied yes and the Rumpkin release was said to be 2K cases.

 

For those that care, I asked No Label about when their Nightmare on 1st St will be sent to Austin. They said next week. Also, Pumpkin Massacre bombers were released in various places today. Still haven't tried either one.

 

The No Label Nightmare surprised the heck out of me. I thought it was an excellent pumpkin ale. I definitely recommend it.

 

I see Rumpkin is landing around Austin today. So far Whichcraft and SOLA has it.

 

Anyone know if Rumpkin hit the big stores(heb, cm, specs)? Looks like which craft sold out real fast.

 

Just had the Crown Valley Imperial Pumpkin Smash. Damn...I loved it! Definitely worth a try for $10 a 4pk.
