    Maybe he just didn't have time to work on it, 4 posts over three weeks might not get to much attention. I'm sure it wasn't a scam just didn't work out the way he wanted.

    Agreed it likely wasnt a scam, just didnt go the way OP wanted it to go. I must agree it is in bad taste to cancel a LIF.

    I think leaving a LIF up for longer than a week will also generate a better outcome.

    Why wouldn't you give the money to the family, and hand out the box to the winner, regardless of how much was received? Very shady IMO.

    I guess I'm not really surprised though given who was running this.

    Yeah, I gotta say, not to be a pessimist, but I only donate specifically to foundations on here and not to individual paypal accounts. Not saying anyone is out to cheat, but it is the only way I can verify the foundation the money is going to.
