This is one of those Saturdays that I wish I could hit all the places in town (alas, I can't). Shenanigans has Mikkeller/Against the Grain Invasion IPA on tap Country Boy's Gose is still on Yesterday The Beer Trappe had Sixpoint Spice of Life Columbus and Against the Grain So Single, It's Half (maybe still on?). Today Great Lakes Rye of the Tiger goes on for the Chevy Chase Block Party (hopefully at 4pm and not at 8!). So many new to me beers. So little time. Anybody know why Holy Grale was pissed off at some place in Lexington yesterday? They posted on Facebook a pic of a bar in town that, it sounded like, had "ripped off" something from Holy Grale. Nothing looked familiar to me from when I've been at Holy Grale, and I couldn't recognize the bar. The thread seems to have been taken down now (after the anger settled in, I suppose), so all the anti-Lexington comments are gone now as well.
Wasn't sure. I've been to Village Idiot and wasn't sure it was in the photo. Maybe the upstairs bar, though I couldn't see the giant beer list board above the bar. Still not sure what they think was copied but I know some of the history between the two forces.
johnking82 hit the nail on the head if the grale is pissed about anything, its the idea cloning/stealing of Tom. Since the Behrs cant come up with original ideas they keep stealing everyone elses and Tyler and Lori have been furious about it for at least 2 yrs now and I know they arent the only ones. Dont feed the Behr
