Damn the timing, my only day off is Wednesday. I am traveling up to Lexington tomorrow though, is there anything worth looking for that is new around?

Country Boy had Belma and Thai IPA still on Sunday when I was there. They also had Sierra Nevada taps on still from the Friday tap takeover. Some might still be up including Blindfold and Bigfoot. There was an Against the Grain on at Beerworks I didn't have a chance to try. Might still be on. Bottles of Dogfish Head's Sixty One IPA should be around.

Should be on most shelves now, although I admit I don't really seek it out until I open the pool.

Made my trip to Lex today and found a bunch of goodies. The highlight of the trip was not beer though. I noticed that they had Pappy Van Winkle 20year to be for sampling at the deli counter. I asked if they had any bottles for sale and they said no. As I proceeded to shop the guy who I had asked earlier came up to me and told me they had just received an shipment of the 20 year old Pappy. At $135 a bottle it was for richer mans blood then mine, but I did get to try some of it at the deli. It is like liquid silk, just stunning!

Some of the beers I did come away with include: Great Lakes Rye of the tiger, Schlafly Golden Ale, Oberon, And fresh Founders Double Trouble.

Just picked up a sixer of Rye as well. LB Beaumont also says they are going to do the Pappy and bourbon tastings. They also got in some Left Hand Twin Sisters.

On a side note I don't recall seeing any Three floyds at all. I know we weren't getting great FFF flow of their product, but nothing at all? Or did I just miss it?

Lately around town, I've seen Arctic, leftover Brian Boru, Behemoth, Munsterfest, Jinx Proof. Beaumont has Alpha King on tap for fills. Haven't been in awhile, but usually Pazzo's has Alpha King on tap as well for drinking with your pizza.

I just left LB Hamburg and the only FFF was Pride and Joy on tap.
On a side note, while I was getting a growler of Maharaja filled; a gentleman in business attire was having several pours of pappy.
While I waited we struck up a conversation. He offered me the other half of one of his 20yr pours. Free of charge. There is hope for humanity.
This guy showed me a picture of his basement bar and it was full of several 15,20, 23yr Pappy. Little humble brag, but the gentleman was very nice and was intrigued when I told him the flavor profile of the Growler of Maharaja I was purchasing.

Double trouble is not out yet. Founders just tweeted a may 1 release date and i heard nothing from my Beerhouse rep. May want to recheck the date on that beer. I would be surprised but not shocked if some place still had some from last year.

Pappy is a bargain when found at retail. You could parlay that 20 year bottle into some real whales in the trading section. Even a 10 year or 12 year is quite the find.

LB Express in Chevy Chase has FFF Behemoth '12 still in stock, the one with the red wax.

If it was a wine, they could command 15-20% price increase for a vintage.

May be a little different here, but I just picked up some 4/6/13 Double Trouble in Louisville

Guess it is was sent out early. Have a tweet that said may 1 from founders. We are usually late here in ky with most releases.

Just checked, mine said 4-6-13 also. I was kind of worried since I had saw the guy roll out like 5 cases of it. I would hate to think they had that much sitting in the back from last year.

Just saw these in LB Palomar, never seen MOA around these parts before. I've always been intrigued by it even though the reviews are mediocre, packaging is beautiful.
