Against the Grain Corfusion is $5.49 a 32 ounce fill at LB Beaumont. The Lore scotch ale is also about that much for a fill.

Hit West Sixth for the Country Western today. Great pale ale. Craft beer week has begun in Lexington!

Anyone know if there is any Doom left in town? Saw it at Pazzos over the weekend, but couldn't pull the $20 trigger there.

Lucky Baxter Taproom in Richmond has 4 bottles of Doom as of 5/14. They also have a few bottles of Mikkeller 1000 IBU and Bolt Cutter. Prices are very reasonable.

Pazzos will be tapping a keg of Doom today at 6:00. Not sure the price per glass.

If there are any southern tier fans out there the liquor barn in Beaumont has the super 12 pack. 2x, unearthly and inequity.

They also have Lake Erie Monster.

The Beer Trappe just got a bevy of J.W. Lees cask aged harvest ales. Picked up a couple myself, mind you they're not cheap.

    Are they multiple vintages?

    Most definitely. J. W. Lees 2005 Sherry, J. W. Lees 2010 Harvest, J. W. Lees 2011 Harvest, J. W. Lees 2006 Calvados and J. W. Lees 2010 Port. I bought the Calvados and Port aged.

I to would go with the Port. Good to see some vintage stuff popping up. I may make the trip up that way on Tuesday.

I have a few friends in Lexington that run bars and restaurants that are not too happy about this. There will be no more Magic Hat available anymore. Good for them. For what it's worth, I do think the logos are a bit similar. But, not enough to warrant a lawsuit. And, West Sixth makes a damn fine IPA.

Magic Hat has to make its money somehow considering they havent made a decent beer since Thumbsucker. It is truely unfortunate. But I agree, I am done with Magic Hat.
