Now that a few months have passed, it's time to give some serious public praise to our two breweries, Country Boy and West Sixth. I was one of those people waiting in anticipation for each to start up, and both have been putting out fantastic beers. West Sixth's IPA is absolutely good. I'm keeping a six pack in my fridge at all times. In addition to the other four beers that they have going, I'm very excited about the Double IPA coming out shortly. Hope to see more canning. And Country Boy's Amos Moses is one of the best browns I've had in ages. Throw in the Barrel Aged Lazy Rye and the Barrel Black Gold Porter, and you have some complex and rich beers. I'm not ignoring either's lineup overall, just happy to have both here and pointing out a few of my favorites. Both places are family and kid friendly (good for a non-night person like me). Both are run by friendly people who will talk about their work if you ask questions. Both make my day. I'm looking forward to their continued work. Lexington is on the scene.
