http://longislandcraftbeerweek.com/ Starting 5/8 (yesterday) LI craft beer week kicks off. Asides whats listed in the link, anyone know of any other events going on? Went to Black Sheep last night for the Barrage and Spider Bite takeover. Really enjoyed the Barrage beers, which was all I had, only because I have had every Spider Bite offering. Fun times.
Barrage is a very underrated LI beer. I work down the block from them on 110 and find myself in there once a week. Had Ravens Shadow (is that right?) on cask with oak chips at Black Sheep 4 months ago. Fantastic. Would love to hear about some events in southern Nassau!
Thought they weren't going to have it the same week as Queens Beer Week. Also, didn't they skip a year so they could get they act together and they have two separate events, one for Nassau and one for Suffolk? Maybe I'm thinking of another LI Beer Week...
