Very specific thread here but hopefully some NY BA's can help me out. Haven't seen Schlafly stuff anywhere near me in Nassau but have heard of it floating around the island...any specific locations? Was this product that someone muled or does it actually get distributed here? Thanks for any insight

I've seen it at Glen Cove Beer Distributors and Garden City (they should have Kolsch, APA, and IPA).

Do you know if they will be getting seasonals?

No clue. I would recommend calling them. What seasonals are you thinking? Like the Pumpkin ale?

Yeah, I hope that comes too.

Southern Tier is crazy and came out with Pumpking already. It hit Hicksville today.

I'm going to wait until September probably to start pumpkin beer. I can't wait because it's my first year into craft. We should get a good amount of pumpkin ales because I see older bottles from many breweries laying around at stores (which I avoid because I hear aging these beers can be sketchy).

Yes, it is. I would suggest picking them up now and keeping them in the back of your fridge if you want to wait - two months in an 85 degree distro can kill what little hops there are pumpkin beer. I've noticed this in past years if I pick up pumpkins in the actual fall they are not as crisp as when they arrive in July or August.

Good point. I'll end up buying it anyway so it's a good idea that I get it out of the way next time I go to the store and keep it in my cellar (basement).
