Lichtenhainer?

    One HUGE problem with simply migrating these, or any newly recognized styles, reviews over to a new style is...

    How do we correct for the beer having been reviewed under the previous style? Unless the reviewer specifically commented as to how the judge the characteristics, it is probably impossible. And then the new style is compiled of beers improperly judged.

    As for Lichtenhainer, my quick search found 32 self labeled beers. And of them, 18 are listed as retired. Regardless, this is a minute number of beers. I stand by the style deserves recognition and promotion. Maybe this highlights the value of recognizing styles even if the sample size is tiny.

    Likely depends on how they were originally classified but likely not judged that far off...

    This is a good point. If they become a recognized style, AND more easily obtained, then the new reviews should overtake the previous discrepancies.

    I’m being won over on early recognition.
