You guys aren't making this easy. That much I can say.

wish I could help, but I'm probably worse off than you...not one of my many homebrews have had a label :astonished:

Well, take a cue from me, Kevin! I'm really impressed with everything everyone has submitted so far. I thought I was going to get crickets on this. Glad I posted this morning!

Formatting shows up weird, but it's basically half of an 8.5x11" sheet, so you could do two labels per sheet. Also this is a JPEG and I'd probably use a higher quality file type for actual print, but this is just so people have an idea of what it looks like. The label would wrap all the way around the bottle. And of course you can write in the actual bottled date, there is a space for it. Lots of stiff competition in this thread! Cheers!

Haha...sorry. I 'will pick a winner by 3PM' doesn't always translate into 'I will post the winner by 3PM'. Fiance has narrowed it down to a few. I'm printing them up *right now* so she can see them on paper when she comes home from work tonight.

    Patience, FalconA, Patience.

Maybe I'll just request all participant's addresses and send the winner a bottle of the homebrew with their label applied. That would be in addition to the Vera Mae...

How much do you like waiting?

I'd love a bottle with my label on it - that would be classic -

I wouldn't even want The Vera Mae ....

If I had won I was just gonna request a bottle of the homebrew in place of the Vera Mae but assumed you only had enough for the wedding. Definitely don't want to short you on the big day!

But take your time man, we're not going anywhere.

Speaking of taking time, my damn fiance is not home yet. Can't close out a contest without the judge. I'm as anxious as you folks to declare a winner, print some labels and be done with this!

Well - look who just walked in!

In a unanimous decision, QuirkZoo is the 'Make it look good' Label Design winner! Congrats, Quirkzoo!

Quirk's label was a perfect fit to the bottle. It had the simplicity we were looking for with that added touch of class.

All of you had rather awesome designs and it was no easy feat to pick just one winner.

Quirk will receive a bottle of Hill Farmstead's Vera Mae along with some fun extras. Quirk - please post a pic of the haul when it lands. I will ship after I return from our wedding festivities, sometime around 9/17.

Thanks to all who entered. I thought this was going to fall flat on it's face. Glad to have such a community ready to help a BA in need! (okay, the parabola is starting to talk now...)

Awesome. So glad you liked my submission. I will make the adjustments and send you some options.

Very excited to try Vera Mae as I haven't had any Hill Farmstead but I have been looking to get my hands on some, even if Shaun is into all those bullshit continental philosphers.

Have a great wedding and please don't even think about sending those beers until at least a week after your wedding. Where are you going for your honeymoon?

So the funny thing is, that I showed my wife this thread and she thought my label submission was:

Which come to think of it, would make a pretty sweet label for a beer. Perhaps a Berliner Weisse?
