Seriously? I have 2 bottles, each one from different store, and each one sold for $25 plus tax. Don't get me wrong, I am thankful that iwas able to get these bottles, but if stores are gouging, that is not cook.

Will say that $45 is not the approved price point.

Will you also say that the approved price point is different for say, a WOB and a Publix?

If not, then every WOB and similar establishment is gouging consumers daily.

$45 price point at a craft beer bar is absolutely reasonable. most bars have 300% markup, though this decreases analogously as the "at cost" price increases.
In addition to this, many bars that offer package to go will offer a discount, anywhere between 10-25%.

Tw Naples will be getting it in tomorrow, 2 cases. Don't know about a bottle limit tho. They're selling it at 20.99.

Brown wanted the price to be $21.99 at all the locations that received life is like.

Definitely. WOB sold 120 for $20 a 12 oz bottle. Publix sells it for.....okay, well yeah. But many bottle shops sell it cheaper than $20. I just picked up LIL for $21.99 (WOOP WOOP!!!) but I'm not arguing that WOB and other bars don't price all beers higher than package; of course absolutely they do. But $45 is higher than the set figure, and I was not aware that figure is negotiable.

distributors do not have the power to set prices in on-premise retail locations. They can "want" something to be priced whatever they want, but the proprietor of a bar has the right to sell at any price point they want. I've drank at bars with $.05 beer nights and a craft bar with bud light at $15. I'm pretty sure this applies to bottle shops as well, but thats not my area of expertise, and i dont know for sure.

I still wouldn't drink Bud Light for $15. They'd have to pay me more like $50 before I would take that dare.

There is no way any bar would sell Life is Like for that price. They'd go out of business very quickly if they sold beer at that small of a markup.

Brown can want all they well, want. But thats not happening.

Meh I'm sure they wouldn't close down because of 1 case of beer. I wonder if that WOB and Bottle Rack are bros.

I never buy a bomber at WOB, its just too dam expensive. I cannot justify paying double what I could walk to the liquor store and buy. As for LFL, any wob that has it for $45 will probably sell it (hopefully on Tuesday) as it is very limited. I know if 3 or 4 of us got together and shared the cost i would do it. It is freaking amazing.

But Cucumber Saison for $19 yeah, no thank you.

Also if the Bottle Rack guy is really buying bottles and reselling in his store. I am sure the ATF would like to speak with him. It is very illegal, he should have an invoice for every bottle of beer, wine or liquor he has in his store. With enough complaints he could get audited.
