Had one last year. I think this is yet another case where Liftbridge dropped the ball. I desperately want to like their beer, I just can't do it. Haven't had this years Irish coffee or the commander. I feel like they are just toying with my emotions.

The whole ticketed release thing seems a bit excessive for a beer I can still find last year's vintage of on shelves.

Amen, I think a better use for this beer is a paperweight or a door-stop. Not much for consumption. Ticketed release? "get outta here!!!"

Tickets seemed to make sense for the Silloutte release since brewery only was BA, but I agree whats the point in doing tickets for something they will have more than enough of?

I actually liked last years release but not sure it lived up to the price. Would rather see this in 4 or 6 12 oz format, then I'd be more likely to pick one up.

I can accept a ticket release for certain beers because it is a fair way to make sure everyone gets a shot at the beer but when I can still buy last years stock on most of these beers it really isn't necessary. Really there isn't an urgency to get this beer when it will still be available in June. At that point I'm beyond an Irish Stout.
Yes this tactic works for Surly because they are the Jordan of beer. I can get New Balance anywhere

I didn't hate this beer last year, but won't buy it again for the price.

I am assuming the fee is for the bands and samples, I would probably put down $5 to see Langers Ball. Still have never come across a Lift Bridge beer I enjoyed, price is quite high when comparing to others.

Couldn't agree more. High price and a product with only average quality = no value

I actually enjoyed this beer quite a bit last release. I did want more barrel though, bit it was their first run at this one, so I'll let it slide & try it again this year.
