    But it's fruit. They're not gonna add that many calories. One whole fruit like an apple or pear has 100 calories, and in a given 12oz serving you're only getting a fraction of that fruit. Plus, those are the kind of calories you actually want to consume.

    The only proper response to your girlfriend would be;

    "I see you want to drink low calorie beer. Is that because you think you are fat? Cause you're not. You could be drinking 14% imperial stouts if you wanted to."

    (Napoleon Dynamite reference: I'm probably one of the few on here young enough to have seen it :slight_smile:)

    But seriously, tell her she's not fat, that's what she wants to hear.

    This is exactly what I use for converting. Not incredibly scientific, but not necessarily any less accurate than if a brewery attempted to tell you the calories.

    Not to sound snarky but let her drink what she likes, if she likes Miller Lite so what? If she doesn't like them look for a lighter body style like a Pils and drink one less. Light beer is what it is, and craft styles might not be able to get you under 100 calories per bottle. So have a few Pils and drink some ice water in there somewhere, nothing's free and your compromising somewhere.
