Bosque Brewing here in NM brewed an Imperial Brown Coffee Ale that I thought was pretty incredible:

I agree with the Regular Coffee recommendations.

You may want to try to score Carton's Cafe y Churro as well if you go seeking the Regular.

This. It's delicious, and it fits your criteria perfectly. Blonde ale, tons of coffee aroma and flavor, and widely available.

Those beers would definitely need to be traded for. Every time things like this come up, some people just throw it out there like its easy to find. Unless you live along the south Raritan shore of NJ from Keansburg to Long Branch you would need to trade so good luck I live in NJ and can't get my hands on Regular Coffee. I've had the Flying Fish Coffee IPA and it was serious business haha. You could drink it room temp and its still awesome. Youd be able to tell blind what it was. No hate but come on guys those beers are very limited making his search difficult. Good Luck.

I guess I'll be the first to suggest Odd Side Bean Flicker. An awesome tasting coffee blonde ale, and while it is only distributed in Michigan, it is one of Odd Side's staple beers, so it's as easy to get as walking to the nearest place that sells craft beer.

Also worth mentioning: Thrash Punk Coffee Kolsch from Witch's Hat. This one is also Michigan-only, and so far only offered in draft format... however, I'm hopeful that they will put it in cans eventually. But growler/howler fills are a possibility--I imagine a beer that isn't long on hops like this one would hold up just fine over the course of a FedEx journey.

@sjantiflow - if you are interested in either of these, let me know. Depending on when your tasting is, I'd be happy to help get some of these to you to include as I think both would perform quite well against other similar options. Feel free to shoot me a BM.

Thanks for looking out! I don't expect our tasting to be quite whalez baller.jweb, but those Carton coffee ales would be an excellent score.

There are coffee IPA's huh? I think that's going to be one of those things I'm closed minded about. That simply does not sound good. Hope you find what you're looking for and have a good time though.

Where in Jersey are you? I'm seeing Carton in restaurants and bars in Union and Morris Counties, and at least two shops carry Carton. Not nearly easy enough to find yet, but it's a start.

I am loving the trend of coffee cream ales. Only had Carton Regular and Calm before the Storm before, both are great beers and would be a good side by side comparison, as they are very different.
