    I think at some point 55 and 66 are the same road?

    Separate roads but run fairly parallel to each other all the way to Springfield.But the really sad part is I've lived here for almost 25yrs and have never been to Funks Grove or had any of their Maple Syrup ☹.

    Yeah, Route 66 is basically a frontage road for 55 at some points in Bloomington, IIRC.
