Join the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce for a night of local beer and local food as we celebrate the start of the much anticipated Square Roots fest! I personally try to not attend first year beer fests as they always seem to be a clusterfuck. Then there is the fact that it is $20 for a glass and a single beer, after that you have the opportunity to buy more beer. The set up seems screwy at best. Most beer fests give you tasting tickets or unlimited pours. This seems like paying a cover to go to Map Room or something.
Not sure I'm going but the Red Eye did an article yesterday stating FFF would be there as well. Only stated they would have Al Dabayu (SP). I had it at the brew pub back in April and it was good but I'm not sure anything here is enough of a draw to rush to.
