Anyone have experience with this event in the past? Tickets are $12 for entry, but you also purchase tickets to buy beer and food. Historically, how many tickets are needed to acquire food/drink? I'm assuming it's not 1:1
Most of the events in the area are more along the lines of 6-8:1. Basically, how many tickets should one person anticipate purchasing?

I also understand that you can purchase more food/beverage tickets at the event, just looking for a little more info than what is provided.

I've been the last two years and if I remember correctly a 9 oz pour (the size of the glass you'll receive) is $4 and special releases (Big Hugs, Bean Gene, etc.) are either $5 or $6 (each ticket is $1). The food portions are pretty tiny (you can easily eat 2-3 of them) and I believe those are also between $4-$6 (or even more).

It's a decent enough time, but a little small (maybe 6 breweries and they each bring 3-5 different beers). Usually Half Acre, Revolution, Finch's, 5 Rabbit, Metropolitan and a few others are there. I'd put money on Half Acre having Daisy Cutter, Heyoka, Alpenglow and Pony/Over Ale. Usually the breweries will bring their year rounds and have 1 or maybe 2 special kegs (which will have lines).

Here is what breweries brought last year that I had gives you an idea of the "rare" beers they'll have:

    5 Rabbit - 5 Lizard
    Revolution - Repo Man
Begyle - North by Northwest, Neighborly Stout
Half Acre - Double Daisy Cutter, The Hunter Gets Captured by the Game
    Metropolitan - Generator

If you want a smaller laid back festival with most of the north side breweries this is for you. Just don't expect any crazy beers, just most of the standard selections.

Thanks for the info. It's hard for me to not go considering I live about 100 yards from the front door of the building. The price is certainly reasonable. Should be a good time!
