I appreciate it. I'm still hoping to get up there Tues/Wed just haven't had any time due to work the last 7 days. Hopefully there's some left a few places at that time.

 

I wouldn't recommend going to certain bottle shops that have members clubs first if you are trying to get a truly limited release. Just my opinion. It sat around at other bottle shops less than 10 minutes away for multiple days.

 

It might still be on shelves at Carrboro Weaver Street. It was there Saturday when I was in. That and BA Narwhal and a few other solid things.

 

I was at Bull Craft in Durham. Theyre getting bottles this week according to the owner.

 

Carrboro Bev got LP bottles today according to their Fbook.

 

By the reply's I guess Bestway blew thru 85 cases, I'd call Chris at Peabodys and have him send it to you, no running around etc, first rate service.

 

Bestway still has some.

 

Carolina Beer Temple in Charlotte should still have some.

 

I'm heading up to Asheville this weekend? Any chance of this still being around?

 

Peabodys in boone still has several cases left, and he ships

 

Hickory Station had it yesterday if you had the time to come down.

 

And Hops & Grapes in Hickory still has it as well. No idea about Asheville. If it were still around it'd probably be at Appalachian Vintners or maybe Bruisin Ales.

Getting into Charlotte next Tuesday and will be there through Thanksgiving... Can anyone confirm places that still have it, and what are the typical limits on how many bottles one can purchase? It's my favorite fruited BA stout, and I'd love to grab a few bottles. On here I've seen people mention Brawley's (where I usually stop when I'm in town), Salud, and Carolina Beer Temple. Is that still the case?

 

If your route includes I-85 or I-40, Bestway in Greensboro had 5 cases this PM. It may disappear this weekend, so call ahead. If you're heading south on I-77 or I-81, Charlotte's your best bet.

 

You can always make the hour drive to Hickory. Many places like Hops and Grapes and Olde Hickory Station will have it. But like @rgordon said, call ahead before you go just so you don't go out of your way for nothing.

 

so brawleys still sells bottles? last I was there he said he was getting out of the bottle biz? Hoping to pick up a case of event horizon when I come down in Jan.

 

huh? Brawley getting out of the bottle business would be like Heinz getting out of the ketchup business...
