Friend opened a bottle of this at my B-Day dinner last night. OMG, I want more. I asked him where he got it and he said a BIF on Rate Beer. Neither of us know much about it.

All I really want to know is what will it take to get another bottle or two? Any idea what this trades for. I searched but all I found was the posting where someone was donating one in my LIF.

    Thanks

It gets limited NC distribution and is gone quick once a year. Think of it maybe like a Bourbon County variant in rarity (reasonable distribution but almost always a bottle limit, etc), except in a much smaller distro region, only about $13-15, and people can generally get at least a couple bottles of it without too much effort. Come Novemberish it'll be released again, so you might wait till then.

Somewhat useless but positive note: it's aged in the barrels from the previous year's Event Horizon batch, so as the production on EvHo goes up there is a commensurate increase in Lindley availability. IE the amount of Lindley available for this year will be roughly the same as the amount of EvHo last year.

Haha I did. Gene I traded a cherry rye for two Lindsey parks I believe was the trade. I drank one and have a hookup for this years. Send me a bm if u wanna trade for the extra bottle I have.

It's a Nov release, all but gone except the rare bottle sitting on a shelf.

Small historical note: Lindley Park is a neigborhood near UNC-G in Greensboro, where Bestway Grocery is located. If it wasn't for Roger at Bestway, this and other Lindley Park variants would not exist. He collaberates wonderfully with Olde Hickory and others to provide distinctive and sometimes off the chart beers. Good to see broad regional appreciation!

OF Lindley Park? No, it's a fruit stout brewed with Raspberries.

Yeah I know exactly what it is, but the post above said there were other variants. Just making sure I didn't miss anything

Lindley Park is one of the most "under talked about" beers brewed in NC. Most peoples initial reaction is WOW...yet it gets little love outside of NC.

I've loved it from the first taste. The problem is that you greedy ass North Carolinian's don't want to give it up in trades!

Just messing around, but seriously a great stout that I wish I had easier access to.
