Yeah it's dumb that they do that, I mean literally NO ONE comes here to drink Hill Farmstead...

Hey, Ricky's got a lot going on in his life at the moment - maybe cut him a bit of slack for now. That business ain't gonna tank based on erratic draft posts, considering every time I go in there it's packed with happy locals. Here's today's post that just came up on FB:

Still pouring Cantillon Kriek as well as Hill Farmstead Edward Abner George Holger Danske Simcoe and SnS#5 as well as Lawson's Jade IPA Fayston Maple Imperial Stout and Maple Nipple. Also Petrus and Wurzburger and possibly a cask of Weisenohe Octoberfest beer!​

 

Posting their draft list or not, who cares. You know that you are going to be drinking some world-class beers there. Who cares which ones!

Do you really think you're going to go to the blackback and NOT find something you'll want to drink?

Granted, if I were driving a little bit, sure, it might be nice to know if the cantillon kreik kicked or not, but whatever. A over a dozen other beers that are all fantastic. You'll be happy once you park your rear on the stool.

 

I don't have a problem with BB at all - great pub, awesome taps and I enjoy stopping there on my way home from work occasionally. I don't go to Farmhouse half as much as when they updated their tap list daily either.

I know both places always have great beer on tap, I just want to know what (within reason, I realize kegs kick).
I don't want to walk to the bar to find all the beer they have that I want, I happen to have on tap or in a bottle at home for 1/4 the price.

Also, some people don't use facebook, bars should post the updates in a location anyone could access - like the web-space you are paying for. It isn't difficult as many, many bars have proven and is just another way to get customers in the door.

 

Who cares if they post what is on. Really he shouldn't post at all, so you have to come in to see whats on tap. You are guaranteed it'll be awesome. At least at Blackback you will.
