Link to latest post

    Trying to figure out if I can create a link that just goes to the last post or to the end of the thread.

    For instance, this goes to the first unread post:

    And this goes to the first post:
    https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/657866/

    This goes to a specific post:
    https://www.beeradvocate.com/commun...ion-to-german-beer.657866/page-2#post-7242717

    Is there something like this that would just link to the last post?

    Couldn't find anything about it in the forums, and I don't know what forum software BA uses (if it's not home brewed) so I can't check for general help like that.

    I find that when I click on a thread that I revisit often, it goes to the latest post. If I haven't visited for a while, it goes to the first post but then I click on the newest thread number...I don't know if that's what you are meaning.

    I only know of creating a link to a specific post of a thread, but have nothing on linking to an ever changing (i.e., current) end of thread post.

    Rather than mess with links, etc. I just go to the thread of interest and when it opens I scroll to the bottom (click and drag #1), select the latest pager number (click #2), and then click and drag down to the bottom (click and drag sequence #2) when that page opens. So it is literally about 3 keystrokes and a few seconds of time after the thread opens to find the latest post.

    Why do you want to see the last post first? It takes you to first unread automatically, isn't that more useful?
