Anybody here tried aging this beer? How long before this beer goes bad? There's a date on the bottle "B/B 2013". I'm wondering if that means best by or best before? Thanks in advance.

It doesn't age well.. When the brewery closed after the Tsunami a few years back I bought a ton of bottles knowing that it might be a long time before I saw this beer again if at all. I drank the bottles periodically over 1.5-2 years. I noticed that it started to degrade in about 6 months and was not good at all at 1.5-2 years. I am not 100% sure but I think that they use some Lactose in this beer (milk stout) which degrades pretty quickly in beers.
I was actually suprised how poorly this aged concidering the high ABV. It's delicious fresh so drink it now.

Not well. I love it fresh. I found a year old box at the store I was excited to try it with some age on it. It tastes like Fried Rice from a Chinese Buffet. If you think of it that way I guess it's good-but it does not compare to how it is fresh.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm planning to crack a bottle soon. I hope the bottles i got are not that old.
