    Total Wine posted on their Facebook page that they have a keg of The Abyss.

    I called and talked to the guy at the growler station and he confirmed that they had it......$14.99 for a 64oz growler.

    I usually get growlers of Abyss at Waddel's for $12 growler, just look around town.

    Hill's has '10-'12 vert on tap right now. $10 for a 6oz pour of each - a steal of a deal.

    I've done the vertical at Hill's, but had no idea about the growler price! Are you sure that Steve wasn't doing a special deal for you, or one of his minions didn't charge you the correct price? $12 growlers of Abyss is crazy!

    Steve didn't do a special deal for me - the growler was at Waddel's last year and the year before. Not Hill's.

    Steve would never sell Abyss in the growler.

    Didn't catch Waddell's name when I read that. Possibly my brain was still reeling from the thought of a $12 Abyss growler anywhere on the planet.

    Or maybe it was the double dry-hopped tricerahops I'd had at Jones
