Seriously. Have you had this beer? It's amazeballs. But on a side note, is live oak going to bottle anytime soon?

I'd easily give it a 4.75 rating. The only thing was the clarity wasn't great, but dang it's a winner all around. I need a growler of this

Haha... Live Oak bottling. Good one.

All I know is that I'd Primus were year round, that's all I'd ever drink locally.

These guys are incapable of doing a bad beer.

Maybe, I had it at Barley Swine on Saturday, saw the tap handle, and it just said Dopplebock. Their menu just said Dopplebock as well. Of coarse, it would not be the first time I screwed up on adding a beer. I love Live Oak, but they never have an updated website, and who know what they are going to do next...

Was the tap handle a Live Oak handle? Taplister has it as Liberator: http://www.taplister.com/beers/142279

It this a fundamentally different, new beer than Liberator? Hmm.

Don't know if I have had Liberator before though. It was a Live Oak tap handle, someone in Austin, quick, go to Barley Swine to find out. You will like it.:grinning: I can make a quick update, the Bros are use to my mistakes by now:wink:

I agree it is one fine Dopplebock, the best brewed in TX. I especially enjoy their Schwarzbier, swore I drank a couple growlers of it last week
