According to this site therr are 231 breweries in PA, from Tired Hands which is world class as everyone knows, to Selinsgrove which is world class and no one ever heard of. Weyerbacher, Free Will, Victory, Troegs, Neshaminy Creek, Pizza Boy, I could probably drink PA for a year and never have the same beer twice.

Lower Forge in Medford is opening up within a few weeks, be sure to check them out! I'll have to wait til July before I can get up there, but I'm excited about that. Cheers!

I love this idea - with travels etc. not sure I can commit for May but think this is really cool!

Dude we have over 100 now: http://www.virginia.org/craftbeer/ (and that's not even up to date without the likes of Va Beer Co, The Veil, don't see The Answer... probably some others).

I'm sad to say I haven't had anything from 1/2 the breweries in the state - but I'm pretty sure I'm close.

Likewise, it really wouldn't be that difficult to survive on MI-only beer for a month or longer.

The way I see craft beer heading is more localism as individual markets mature. Just look at how much nationally distributed beer sits on shelves at places like Meijers? Deschutes and Ballast Point just to name a couple. Without the continual demand for some of these brands they will eventually remove themselves from the market. Unlike the days of BMC, there really is no brand loyalty for craft brew enthusiasts seeking out their next tick, the next new release, the latest and greatest.

I should give this a try. We have 15+ breweries right here in Boise, almost all of them within biking distance (<5 miles). Plus decent distribution for most of the other Idaho breweries. main problem, is I've already tried almost everything....

You're lucky they're not brewing Champale in Trenton anymore.....

Hell, I could probably drink local for a month without getting in a car. But to start, I think I'll try a week.
Hint: I live in downtown Denver.

I would love to drink only Connecticut beer. That was actually my plan when I moved here. Good luck to you @Urk1127! I hope you enjoy yourself and I look forward to reading your updates.

Absolutely--their "Blurred is the Word" was a great twist on the NE style. Really stepped it up the last year and a half.

The California equivalent is only drinking beer brewed OUT of state. That would be tough.

I could go my whole life just drinking Oregon brewed beer, too much tasty beer to bother looking elsewhere.

At least I'm not the only one who isn't a fan of Mill Stream. Of all of their beers I've tried, only 1 I liked. Same goes for Olde Main. Their Sodbuster is awesome, the rest is crap.

Olde main is just not a good brewery, and you're definitely not alone on millstream, I don't really know anybody who's a big fan of them.
